The Hong Kong Synthetic Leather & Metal Material Suppliers’ Association is a non-profit making organization of Leathers & Metal retailer and traders. We are established since the suggestions of our members. Though facing the SARS, all our enthusiastic committees endeavored to attend all the preparatory meetings. With more than ten months and more than twenty meetings, our association was established on 13 August 2003.We would like to thank all of our committees paid so much effort on this.

AIM: to unite all the members closely together, to provide a channel for information exchange and to build up a fair and mutual environment for the members

Objective: to unite more members in order to support each other. With our fortitude, we would like to make a unique brand of Hong Kong, raise our market shares and prominence and provide a best environment for business.

E. Industry News香港合成皮革暨金屬物料供應商商會是一個非弁利的組織，會員由香港及海內外的合成皮革、皮革、金屬配件之零售、批發、貿易、製造之商號及個人組成。在2002年11月，由多位熱心會員提議籌組商會，各委員盡心、盡力，經過二十多次會議及幾個月時間，終於在2003年8月13日登記成立註冊商會有限公司。

本會成立的宗旨是團結香港同業朋友，為同業利益共同奮門，以本會為管道，參與公共事務，充分表達同業意見，創造更有利的營商環境。立足香港，面向祖國，積極參與中國內地經濟建設與投資，加強地區與國際間溝通及聯繫，促進經濟交流合作，創造商機。

本會成立以來，組團訪問了浙江溫州及廣東省多個地區，舉辦了研討會、文娛活動及新春聯歡宴會等凝聚會員的活動，並通過本會刊物—–《會訊通》，加強了會員之間的交流，同時亦積極參與香港工商界的其他活動，提高了商會的知名度，進一步推動會務的發展。
